Artist's Bio - Heidi Neff For many years, I have attended game conventions and renaissance faires. At these events, I developed a love of medieval style clothing and accessories. After several years of making costumes and doing leatherwork, I decided it was time to try my hand at Chainmaille. I’ve been addicted ever since. Many people wonder how I got my business name. I work with a group at Gen Con (a game convention) that runs an interactive event called True Dungeon. Part of the event is the True Tavern, which I used to help organize and run. This earned me the nickname “The Tavern Wench”. I am also a member of a forum group called the Gamer Wenches. So, when it came time to choose a business name, the obvious choice was The Chainmaille Wench. I was born in Germany (Army brat), and have lived in Texas, Arizona, Hawaii, and Indiana, but have always considered myself a Texan. I currently reside in Austin, TX. I hope you enjoy my designs.
